Itinerary

Day 1 : Santa Cruz Island: El Chato Reserve

Arrive on Santa Cruz Island, where your guide will welcome you to the Galapagos. Your first stop is El Chato Reserve, home to giant tortoises roaming freely in their natural habitat. Walk through lush highland forests, spotting Darwin’s finches, yellow warblers, and Galapagos rails. The peaceful surroundings and the chance to observe these gentle giants up close make for an incredible introduction to the islands.

Lunch / Dinner

Day 2 : Santa Cruz Island: Dragon Hill & Bachas Beach

Begin the day with a hike to Dragon Hill, a nesting site for land iguanas and a prime location for spotting flamingos and pintail ducks in the nearby lagoon. Afterward, visit Bachas Beach, a beautiful white sand beach where sea turtles nest. The remnants of a World War II floating pier add historical significance to this pristine coastal setting. The turquoise waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, offering a chance to spot marine life such as rays and tropical fish.

Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Day 3 : Floreana Island: Post Office Bay & Cormorant Point

Explore Floreana Island, steeped in maritime history and natural wonders. At Post Office Bay, continue the centuries-old tradition of leaving postcards in a wooden barrel, a practice dating back to 18th-century whalers. Later, visit Cormorant Point, where a flamingo-filled lagoon and two unique beaches await—one with green olivine sand and another with soft white coral. Snorkel in nearby waters, encountering sea turtles, reef fish, and playful sea lions.

Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Day 4 : Española Island: Suarez Point & Gardner Bay

Discover Española Island, a paradise for bird lovers and marine wildlife enthusiasts. At Suarez Point, witness a dramatic coastal landscape where waved albatrosses nest and a natural blowhole sends seawater high into the air. Spot blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, and Española mockingbirds. In the afternoon, relax on the white sands of Gardner Bay, where sea lions bask in the sun. Snorkel along the rocky shores, encountering colorful fish and, if lucky, the elusive Galapagos shark.

Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Day 5 : San Cristobal Island: Interpretation Center & Departure

Your final day begins at the Interpretation Center on San Cristobal Island, where you’ll learn about the history, ecology, and conservation efforts of the Galapagos. This informative visit provides a deeper understanding of the challenges and successes in protecting these unique islands. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to the mainland, leaving with unforgettable memories of your Galapagos adventure.
