Itinerary
Day 1 : San Cristobal Island: Lobos Island
Day 2 : Santa Cruz Island: Carrion Point & Baltra : Seymour Island
Begin diving at Carrion Point, a great site to adjust to Galapagos diving, with chances of spotting mola molas. In the afternoon, dive at Seymour Island, home to white-tip reef sharks, Galapagos sharks, and rays.
Day 3 : Wolf Island: La Ventana Islet, La Banana & Shark Bay
Wolf Island is a diver’s paradise, hosting one of the highest shark biomasses in the world. Expect encounters with hammerheads, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, eagle rays, and whale sharks (seasonal). Night dive option available.
Day 4 : Darwin Island: Darwin’s Arch & El Arenal
Explore Darwin’s Arch, a legendary dive site famous for its massive schools of hammerhead sharks. The area also attracts whale sharks and offers thrilling encounters with pelagic species in the open blue waters.
Day 5 : Darwin & Wolf Islands
Two additional dives at Darwin in the morning, followed by one or two more dives at Wolf in the afternoon. An optional night dive at Anchorage Bay offers sightings of the red-lipped batfish and garden eels.
Day 6 : Fernandina Island: Cape Douglas & Isabela Island: Cape Marshall & Vicente Roca Point
Depending on the season, dive either Cape Marshall (January–May) for giant mantas and sharks or Cape Douglas (June–December) to witness marine iguanas feeding underwater. Afternoon dive at Vicente Roca Point, a mola mola cleaning station.
Day 7 : Santiago Island: Cousins Rock & Santa Cruz Island: Highlands & Breeding Center
Morning dive at Cousins Rock, home to seahorses, frogfish, turtles, and rays. In the afternoon, visit the Santa Cruz Highlands to observe giant tortoises in the wild. Explore Puerto Ayora before enjoying a farewell dinner.
Day 8 : San Cristobal: Interpretation Center
Disembark and visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the history and conservation of the Galapagos before heading to the airport for departure.
