Itinerary
Day 1 : Santa Cruz Island: Charles Darwin Research Station & Highlands
Day 2 : Floreana Island: Post Office Bay & Cormorant Point
Begin your day at Post Office Bay, where you’ll take part in a centuries-old mail exchange tradition established by 18th-century whalers. Here, you can explore lava tunnels, swim, snorkel, or kayak in tranquil surroundings. In the afternoon, head to Cormorant Point, where contrasting beaches await: one green with olivine crystals and the other pure white from crushed coral. Nearby, a saltwater lagoon supports a large flamingo population along with other birdlife such as pintails and flycatchers. The unique combination of natural and cultural history makes for a captivating experience.
Day 3 : Española Island: Punta Suárez & Gardner Bay
Start your morning at Punta Suarez, one of the most biodiverse locations in the Galapagos. Walk along rugged sea cliffs teeming with blue-footed and Nazca boobies, marine iguanas, and bold mockingbirds. During certain months, you may even witness the remarkable courtship dance of the waved albatross, endemic to this island. In the afternoon, relax at Gardner Bay, a stunning white-sand beach home to a playful colony of sea lions. Snorkel in clear waters around Gardner and Osborn Islets, where you can encounter vibrant coral reefs and schools of tropical fish.
Day 4 : San Cristóbal Island: Witch Hill & Kicker Rock
Your final day begins with a scenic visit to Witch Hill, a secluded bay perfect for snorkeling and relaxing on powdery white sand. Enjoy panoramic views of Kicker Rock, a dramatic volcanic formation rising from the ocean and a nesting site for numerous seabirds. The saltwater lagoon and calm shoreline create a peaceful setting to conclude your cruise. Following your excursion, you’ll be transferred to the airport in San Cristobal for your return flight to mainland Ecuador.
