Arrive in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, where the yacht crew welcomes you aboard. In the afternoon, visit El Junco Lagoon, one of the few freshwater sources in the Galapagos. Nestled at 700 meters above sea level, this crater lake attracts frigate birds that rinse their feathers in its waters. The surrounding misty highlands provide a lush contrast to the island’s arid coastline.

Itinerary
Day 1 : San Cristobal Island: El Junco Lagoon
Day 2 : Floreana Island: Post Office Bay, Cormorant Point & Devil’s Crown
Begin at Post Office Bay, where a historic wooden barrel has served as an informal postal system since the 18th century. Continue to Cormorant Point, home to a vibrant flamingo lagoon and two unique beaches—one with green olivine sand and another with fine white coral. Snorkel at Devil’s Crown, an eroded volcanic crater teeming with marine life, including reef sharks, sea turtles, and colorful fish.
Day 3 : Española Island: Suarez Point & Gardner Bay
Explore Suarez Point, a haven for bird lovers with its colonies of blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, and the majestic waved albatross. The island’s famous blowhole dramatically sprays seawater into the air. In the afternoon, relax on the white sands of Gardner Bay, surrounded by playful sea lions. Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, encountering rays, reef fish, and occasional sharks.
Day 4 : Santa Cruz Island: Twin Craters & Charles Darwin Station
Visit the Twin Craters, impressive sinkholes formed by the collapse of underground lava chambers. The lush Scalesia forest around them is home to finches and short-eared owls. Later, tour the Charles Darwin Research Station, where conservation efforts for the iconic Galapagos giant tortoises are underway. Observe tortoise breeding programs and learn about ongoing ecological preservation initiatives.
Day 5 : Genovesa Island: El Barranco & Darwin Bay
Climb Prince Philip’s Steps at El Barranco for panoramic views and close encounters with red-footed boobies, short-eared owls, and Galapagos doves. Then, visit Darwin Bay, where a white coral beach leads to tidal pools filled with sea lions and wading birds. A hike through mangroves reveals nesting sites for swallow-tailed gulls and frigate birds.
Day 6 : Rabida Island & Chinese Hat
Rabida Island’s striking red-sand beach is a hotspot for Galapagos hawks, finches, and pelicans. Snorkel in its clear waters, home to sea lions, rays, and tropical fish. In the afternoon, explore Chinese Hat, a volcanic islet shaped like a traditional Asian hat. Lava formations, tide pools, and sandy coves provide opportunities to observe penguins and marine iguanas up close.
Day 7 : San Cristobal Island: Witch Hill & Lobos Island
Start the day at Witch Hill, a stunning beach with powdery white sand and turquoise waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling among rays and reef fish. Later, visit Lobos Island, where a large colony of sea lions welcomes visitors. Watch blue-footed boobies perform their courtship dances and admire the soaring frigate birds.
Day 8 : San Cristobal Island: Interpretation Center & Departure
