Itinerary
Day 1 : Baltra Island | Santa Cruz Highlands
Day 2 : Dragon Hill | Chinese Hat
Begin your day at Dragon Hill, a rugged landscape home to vibrant land iguanas, flamingo-filled lagoons, and breathtaking coastal views. Hike through arid terrain before heading to Chinese Hat, a small islet with a distinctive volcanic cone. Here, enjoy excellent snorkeling opportunities among white-tipped reef sharks, sea lions, and colorful fish.
Day 3 : Genovesa Island | El Barranco & Darwin Bay
Sail to Genovesa Island, also known as “Bird Island,” a haven for seabirds. At El Barranco, climb a rocky trail to witness colonies of red-footed and Nazca boobies nesting along the cliffs. Later, visit Darwin Bay, a picturesque sandy cove where you can snorkel among rays, sharks, and large schools of fish while watching frigatebirds soaring overhead.
Day 4 : Black Turtle Cove | Departure From Baltra
Conclude your journey with a peaceful exploration of Black Turtle Cove on Santa Cruz. Paddle through mangrove-lined waterways and observe sea turtles, golden rays, and reef sharks gliding through the shallow waters. After this final wildlife encounter, transfer to Baltra Airport for your flight back to the mainland.
