After arriving at Baltra Airport, you’ll board your cruise and set sail toward Bartolome Island. This volcanic island is home to one of the most iconic landscapes in the Galapagos, featuring Pinnacle Rock. A hike up a wooden staircase rewards you with panoramic views of the lunar-like terrain. The waters surrounding the island offer excellent snorkeling opportunities, where you may encounter Galapagos penguins, sea lions, and even white-tipped reef sharks.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival & Bartolome Island
Day 2 : South Plazas & North Seymour Island
Begin your day on South Plazas, a small island covered with red sesuvium plants and dotted with giant Opuntia cacti. Here, land iguanas roam among swallow-tailed gulls and sea lions. At the cliffs, watch as red-billed tropicbirds and Galapagos shearwaters soar past. In the afternoon, head to North Seymour, where frigatebirds perform their dramatic courtship displays, inflating their red throat pouches. Blue-footed boobies can also be seen performing their signature mating dance, while sea lions rest along the shoreline.
Day 3 : San Cristobal – Pitt Point & Witch Hill
Arriving at Pitt Point on San Cristobal, you’ll embark on a hike up a volcanic tuff cone, offering spectacular views of the island. This is the only place in the Galapagos where you can see all three species of boobies—red-footed, blue-footed, and Nazca—nesting in the same area. Later, visit Witch Hill (Cerro Brujo), a stunning white-sand beach surrounded by dramatic cliffs. Here, you can snorkel with sea lions, observe shorebirds, or take a short walk to a hidden lagoon where migratory birds such as black-necked stilts and pintail ducks can be found.
Day 4 : San Cristobal – Cerro Colorado & Departure
Your final day begins with a visit to the Galapaguera de Cerro Colorado, a breeding center dedicated to the conservation of San Cristobal’s giant tortoises. Walk through the reserve and observe these gentle giants in a semi-natural habitat, learning about efforts to protect them. Afterward, enjoy some free time in town before being transferred to the airport for your return flight to the mainland.
