Andre Robles

Voyagers Travel Company

About Andre

André Robles is the co-founder of Voyagers Travel Company, which he started in 2002 with his aunt, Yolanda Cerón. He served as the company’s CEO for twenty-two years before transitioning into his current role as Communications Consultant.

In this role, André continues to shape the editorial voice of the brand and acts as the primary GM voice across Voyagers’ published materials.

What began as a family venture grew, over more than two decades under André’s leadership, into a recognized operator in Ecuadorian and South American travel. The company’s focus has remained consistent: building itineraries that introduce independent travelers and travel partners to the Galápagos Islands, the Ecuadorian Amazon, the Andes, and neighboring regions through carefully vetted suppliers and on-the-ground operators.

Professional Background

Editorial & Strategic Role

On a day-to-day basis, André’s contribution to Voyagers is editorial and strategic. He writes and reviews the long-form content that explains why the company recommends a particular cruise, a specific Amazon lodge, or a less-trafficked Galápagos itinerary. He frames the company’s point of view for press inquiries and partner outreach, and he is the voice readers most often encounter in Voyagers’ guides and “from the GM” notes.

Writing Approach

After more than two decades in the business, André tends to write the way an experienced operator talks: practical, specific, and skeptical of marketing claims that travelers cannot verify on the ground. That tone carries through the bio pages he authors and the SCAPE interviews he commissions with the operators behind the cruises Voyagers sells.
