Voyagers Travel Company + SCAPE Partners

The People Behind the Journey

Voyagers Travel Company is an Ecuador-based operator co-founded in 2002 by André Robles and his aunt, Yolanda Cerón. The team brings together communications, operations, and on-the-ground specialists who design and deliver Galápagos and South America itineraries.

These bio pages introduce the Voyagers team alongside the SCAPE (Spotlights, Cruise & Adventure Partner Encounters) interview series — first-person conversations with the operators, captains, and founders who shape the experiences travelers ultimately book.

SCAPE
Spotlights, Cruise & Adventure Partner Encounters

SCAPE is the interview series that sits alongside the Voyagers team pages. Each entry is a first-person conversation with a founder, owner, or business developer whose vessels or operations Voyagers represents. The interviews are published on the Galapagos Islands Travel site so that travelers comparing cruises can read directly from the people behind the ships, rather than only from operator-written marketing copy.

The three SCAPE profiles that follow — Octavio Chauca of Ocean Spray, Andres Paez of Via Natura / Hermes Galapagos Catamaran, and the Luisa Córdova and Ivonne Zumarraga conversation at Golden Galapagos — are drawn from verified interview transcripts. Every quoted line below is verbatim from those interviews. Specific facts that the transcripts do not support are marked [VERIFY] rather than filled in.
